“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”  -Isaiah 40:8

PYC is the Presbyterian Congregation of Middletown’s Youth Group for children and

young adults in grades 6-12

Identity, belonging and leadership opportunities are three key needs of young people.  To respond to those needs, the 205th General Assembly, in 1993, approved the creation of a national youth ministry—the Presbyterian Youth Connection.  The goal of PYC is to connect young people in our church to each other, the entire congregation and whole world through faith in Jesus Christ.

PYC is built upon the five intentions of Presbyterian Youth Ministry:

  • To call youth to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

  • To respond to the needs and interests of our youth.

  • To work together, youth and adults, in partnership.

  • To connect with the whole church, the community and the world.

  • To include all young people, inviting others to join in and belong to the community of faith.

Up Coming PYC events:

(generally 2 meetings each month)

All meetings are held from 6pm-7:30pm in Fellowship Hall at the church.

Any youth who needs a ride to and from PYC can contact Rev. Potter at the church.  Phone 944-4322 - there’s no reason YOU cannot be a part of PYC.  SEE YOU!!!
